Alana De La Garza has gained a following through her appearances on TV. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and Irish American mother were born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 the 26th of June, 1976. The family moved to Texas to pursue the career of an exercise physiotherapist in the University of Texas. De La Garza did not keep her place in Texas for long and soon relocated in Orlando Florida, where she played a variety of roles as an actor including commercials and independent films. She quickly found her passion for the art of acting even in small roles. She moved in New York and in 2001 she scored her first stage role in the daytime soap show All My Children as Rosa Santos. Through the early part of 2000 she appeared in minor roles on JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. She landed her major role in 2004's miniscule film The Mountain.
