Alana De La Garza has gained a following through her appearances on TV. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and Irish American mother were born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 the 26th of June, 1976. The family moved to Texas to pursue the career of an exercise physiotherapist in the University of Texas. De La Garza did not keep her place in Texas for long and soon relocated in Orlando Florida, where she played a variety of roles as an actor including commercials and independent films. She quickly found her passion for the art of acting even in small roles. She moved in New York and in 2001 she scored her first stage role in the daytime soap show All My Children as Rosa Santos. Through the early part of 2000 she appeared in minor roles on JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. She landed her major role in 2004's miniscule film The Mountain. De La Garza starred as Maria Serrano alongside top TV actors like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley, Mitch Pileggi. She was A.D.A. in Law & Order, where her most memorable performance was that of 2006. Connie Rubirosa. She was in 85 episodes. She then joined the short-lived spin-off Law & Order: LA. The character she played earned De La Garza several nominations such as Best Supporting Actress - Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards and even several ALMA Award noms. The actress was awarded the Impact Award in 2008 for her remarkable performance on dramatized television shows from National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza landed a regular role on CSI Miami a few moments afterwards. She performed the role of Marisol Deko who was the husband of David Caruso's persona Horatio Caine. She played Doctor. Lena Solis in NBC's dark comedy Do No Harm. Alyssa Milano was canceled by NBC following only two episodes. Milano. The actress is an ethnically-mixed woman of Italian origin and also has a younger brother Cory who is 10 years her junior. Milano was born into an exceptionally religious and conservative family. Milano was able to begin her career in the age of seven when her childsitter took her to an audition in the acting field. Her audition was part of more than 1,000 people who applied. Her audition was taken among only four girls. Milano made appearances in adverts on television and off-Broadway, including the American musical adaptation in the form of Jane Eyre.
